In the shadow of S. R. Driver: A centennial appreciation
H. G. M. Williamson is the Emeritus Regius Professor of Hebrew at the University of Oxford. A leader in the Hebrew literature and language guild for over the past forty years, Hugh is well known for his research on Persian Period Jewish literature as well as the book of Isaiah. This Peter Craigie Memorial Lecture, co-sponsored with the Canadian Society for the Study of Religion (CSSR) and Canadian Society of Patristic Studies (CSPS), was generously supported by the Canadian Corporation for the Study of Religion (CCSR) and the Canadian Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences.
